    according to a sheff u fan on radio sheff we rejected a 600k bid for howard on deadline day.

    however, sheff now close to signing central midfielder they missed out on before.

    might be howard i suppose.

    The only worry I have is that if we got shut of Davey and got a new manegr in, then we may see the Howard of old. So to let him go now may be very short sighted. We might also see the likes of Andy Johnson come into the fold......even better, we might end up with an harmonious squad who respect the manager and want to get BFC out of the hole dug by Davey. One can only hope.
