Radio 5 reported that the Hull chairman, Adam Pearson was pacing up and down the touchline at an empty Ninian Park waiting for the Leeds debacle to be resolved.

When the news came in that full time had been called, Ridsdale walked up to him with a glass of champagne.

Ridsdale takes two bodyguards when he visits Leeds (or at least he did when I last saw him shopping there). Think he might need to increase that if he ever needs to go there again. Not sure if its true or not but its pretty ridiculous if it is, talk about rubbing salt in the wound.
