I mean the guy was plucked from League 2 just like Hill, yet Keef was deemed ****in useless yet Robins is held by some on here as the new Mourinho yet they both came from same league. That's confusing for a start.

Robins had that much faith his own management skills that at the first sign of constraints being put on him he was off quicker than a tarts knickers!! Let's not forget some of Robins football was truly dull and boring. I'll never forgive a manager for bottling it, never ever.

He avoided relegation on last day last season, granted he only had less than half a season.

But this season he's spent **** loads compared to us, no doubts paid top dollar wages compared to us and even in January was still allowed to go and blow a million. Guess what people? Hudds are truly dreadful and if season was another 10 games, they would be fighting relegation

    He ain't all that

    Bang on.

But it dunt fit folks agendas.

We should though focus on us, and ours. The previous managers are exactly that.

I'd much rather be going down with Wilson in charge than I would Robins. He's proved this season that even with financial support, he can only give average football in return. With our budget this season, he would have had no chance, so in league 1 he'd be f*cked! In a way I think we were lucky not to back him, imagine if we'd have given him millions and ended up in Huddersfield's position...

    IN DANNY WE TRUST!

He's a good manager. A good manager let down by the powers that be whilst here. He failed, but he wasn't given the sort of backing he deserved. We've then backed Flicker and Danny and it's worse than it ever was under Keith. If folk disagree, they ant seen the last few games. Today was a joke.

Hill had half his team sold from under him after giving us some real hope for a while and although he was an obnoxious so n so he wasn't a bad manager, far better than Wilson which will be, I'm sad to say proved next season.

One player was sold. He should have planned better for losing Drinkwater and when it happened he was clueless.

Are you saying/hoping that Rochdale will finish above us next season?

Let's not forget that Hill was technically relegated.

I think this season has proved he's no more than a poor to adequate manager.. only 13 wins all season,-10 gd..,only 1 win in the last 10 games and a points total that would have finished no better than 2nd bottom last year and all this with Vaughn, Hammill, Nahki Wells,Norwood,Scannell, and a lot of money, certainly by our standards pumped in in the last couple of years.
As a bloke I quite like Mark Robins, but I don't think he's going to tear any trees up at this level. With that squad Huddersfield should have been looking seriously at a shout of the play offs.

I'm no particular fan of Robins but Hill was a bad fit for our club he is now managing a club that he feels comfortable with and good luck to him. Not sure when selling one player started to equal having half your team sold indeed Flitcroft last season had a future England Centre half and his top scorer sold but did better.

Unfortunately Flicker decided to ditch a style of play that had been successful. God knows why. they say you cant play a full season at that tempo but Burnley and Leicester have

Spot on. I was saying the same in another thread. Spending a nine-figure fee on a player to play alongside the likes of Vaughan, Clayton and Hammill, yet he's only capable of finishing up with (a maximum of) 53 points. And he's a boring lovely person.

Fark me. We've got somebody thinking that one player is half a team now you're saying that Wells cost £100m. People really will say owt to prove a "point".

Seven-figure. Doh. Still massive in comparison to the kind of money we spend.
