Not for me. But given that choice, I'd pick Labour every time.

You're stuck between a party from the left and a party from the extreme right. Their policies are hardly close. Play it safe and go with The Tories if you believe in right wing politics; dont be fooled by the BNP.

Cant say as I ever thought I would hear of any Grandad advocating a vote for BNP but I suppose at the moment it is a democracy and they are entitled, but democracy wouldnt last long if the BNP got power... I hope I dont live long enough to see it

It depends on who you trust to take us forward

I was considering voting for the Conservatives up until hearing their policies this week...

Personally I think Labour are the best of a bad bunch....

Actually you're quite right. I was confusing Labour with this Blairite centre-left shower of **** we presently have in power.

    I wouldn't even class them as centre-left.

Labour and the Tories position themselves as centrally as is physically possible.

Out of the three, the Lib Dems are probably the furthest to the left at the moment.

    BNP = Nazis in suits.

Look at the back ground of Griffiths and his supporters many who have Hitler and Swastica tatoos.

I am one of the older posters on here who was born a few years after the War so the memories of my parents telling me about the family members I never met because they were killed by the Nazis is still strong. I also worked with men who had lost there youth because they were away from home 6 years fighting the Nazis. The stories of what they saw make Afganistan look like a little local difficulty.

The BNP think Hitler was a hero, they will not accept that extermination camps existed. Some of the men I worked with had been at the liberation of these camp.

They also have links with neo -nazi groups in Europe and the USA.

i think your right to be honest but i am all for giving others a chance.

As for the BNP i rewad the following and i agreed with most of it..

CRIME - crack down on crime with many more bobbies on the beat including return of capital punishment for child killers and terrorists
IMMIGRATION - An end to immigration and bogus asylum seekers flooding britain. Use the billions wasted on foreign aid to fund "homeward bound"
HEALTH - use vast amounts of money now wasted on funding our european union membership on restoration of the NHS
EDUCATION - a return to traditional methods, stronger discipline in the classroom and a end to trendy teaching methods which have failed our children.
DEFENCE - no british blood should be shed in conflicts that dont involve british interests.

just a few i read and i a greed with.

i am looking at the future not the past. i repsect your opinions and thank you for them but my belief is to let people have a go and then judge them. its all well and good saying you know people who know this about someone but until you see for yourself aint that wrong?

My opinioin for you to consider...

CRIME - crack down on crime with many more bobbies on the beat including return of capital punishment for child killers and terrorists

You could have thousands more "bobbies on the beat" but the chances of catching someone in the act of perpetrating a crime is minimal. You are much better to attach the cause of most crime i.e. drugs at the source by cutting out all dealers and having state sponsored centres where drugs are available in return for certain things. Other crime, such as gun/knife crime as well as alchol is a direct result of a breakdown in personal responsibility but also the continuation of midery and a lack of hope. Fix that and move on. Also, as hard as it may be, the threat of teh death sentance is rarely a detterent to those fixed on doing either of thiose crimes mentioned.

IMMIGRATION - An end to immigration and bogus asylum seekers flooding britain. Use the billions wasted on foreign aid to fund "homeward bound"

Immigration is nothing new and has happened for thousands of years, both from different parts of the UK to different parts of the world. There perhaps has to be controls but whilstever we have a much better standard of living to others, others will want to come.

I would also imagine that "Homeward Bound" is a re-patriation scheme? Where does it stop?

HEALTH - use vast amounts of money now wasted on funding our european union membership on restoration of the NHS. I cannot disagree with exiting the EU. I don't think the NHS is in that bad a state. Also see point 2 on immigartion. The NHS relies on foreign or immigrant workers.

EDUCATION - a return to traditional methods, stronger discipline in the classroom and a end to trendy teaching methods which have failed our children.

Rather wishy washy to talk about "trendy teaching methods" and what exactly is tarditional teaching? the birsh or teh cane? No thank you.

DEFENCE - no british blood should be shed in conflicts that dont involve british interests. Sorry, wether you like it or not, Iraq and Afghanistatan are about British interests - Oil and Gas and perhaps drugs.
