I'm about as optimistic as a fan gets, but even I'm struggling to find any positives recently... Losing all of our key players obviously completely derailed our season, and it probably isn't fair blaming Keith Hill, who has given us some incredible football this season, but regardless of who's fault it is, or the reason behind current form, I'm starting to worry about next season (assuming the gap between ourselves and the relegation zone is enough to last until the end of the season!!). Will be able to find enough quality in the places we are looking, to 'over achieve' again next season? I hope so. Other than a couple, I think most of the so called lower league players have been exceptional signings this season, and have adapted really well to this league, but the quality we've lost in Butterfield, Vaz Te, Drinkwater etc isn't easy to replace, hopefully Keith Hill has a plan up his sleeve.

In my opinion, staying in this league is a success, given our situation and reputation. The problem as I see it, is that I watch the lads play, and I don't know who half of them are... this usually happens at the start of the season, not February and March... I'm obsessed with Barnsley, so if I struggle with the team, how do all of these new players no what is going on?!

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with how the season as a whole has gone, the style of football, intelligent signings, a tentative play off push, 'big clubs' looking at our players, at the moment surely these things are about as much as we can realistically hope for?? I for one am happy with them, although now concerned with the current situation. The end of the season can't come soon enough for us.

    A very confused supporter.

(and what the hell is happening at half time?? Surely there is better entertainment available?! The little 5-a-side match at the Reading game was the best half time all season, do that every game please)
