We just never seem to learn do we? Needed a striker as soon as Moore went which we still don't seem to be any closer to. Had our fingers burned time and again with release clauses and we still seem to be allowing them. Gone from signing to many players to being badly under strength without adding much quality if any. I was hoping that when we were bought things would improve on all those issues but they just aren't and it's not good enough. Thousands bought season tickets me included to help support the club through what is a tough time and we are all aware of the financial constraints that will bring but we are sleepwalking back into league 1 and the losses that also creates. We always seem to be getting somewhere then kill any forward progress by not doing the right things and supporting those making forward steps. I don't blame Struber for wanting to go nor do I hold any animosity towards him for his outburst on saturday. Yes it was unprofessional and frowned upon generally but us he not just saying what we are all thinking? It's easy to condemn him but he's living away from home and being told the same as us in as much as we are getting players in that just haven't arrived. We all saw his passion when he broke down at Brentford last year it's just a shame the board don't seem capable of getting the players it to make it possible to match it. Frustrated tonight if I'm honest
As things have panned out today - I thought .... We won’t let any players go. Struber will probably stay. At the end of the day we will have signed 2 or 3 quality player ready for the 1st team. As things stand now I’m honestly bewildered, shocked and angry. In the past I’ve always been verbally supportive of these owners - how can I do that now. This is horrible.
Pretty much same. If we had gone down it would have been another fire sale. Total rebuild again. For once, we stayed up, we have contracts in our favour. For once, it's all in our to hands to tweak and build. Nah, **** that. I said this window will show our metal, show our board. Quite frankly, as it stands, it's a piece of wet paper. I truly hope that the "domestic" gives them chance to correct it, but after recent events and today, it's going to take a miracle to get fans onside
