    laying more people off? I knwo up Scnuthorpe way they've canned night shifts and over time and people are on a 3 day working week/ half pay.

    But I feel gutted for them who haven't been as lucky. It's probably only a matter of time, though, in the present climate.

    how long have you been with them Kev

    cos if they do give you the nod then they must pay you redundancy, used to be 1 weeks pay for every year and 1.5 weeks per every years if you had served beyond 10 years...also sometimes a compensation payment on top.

    But I believe I have all the qualities required to become a Couch Potato, if absolutely necessary!!
    I'm not amongst the first cull, but it's probably only a matter of time.

    There's plenty of families now facing worrying times, less than two weeks after being told there'd be no redundancies.
