    Barnsley 2 v Scnuthorpe 1 - League position 15th.

    Just wanted to say well done Simon Davey. This was one of our best performances for many a year (well, since we last won a game against Plymouth) and we defended a lot better today. Souza is class - next Arjan De Zeuw.

    Well played too Dominic Werling and another great free kick. Way he is going he will be worth 2 million in January transer window. Who needs Roberto Carlos?!

    Shep and Co deserve a lot of praise for letting Davey splash the cash and there is no doubt we will be a lot stronger and harder to beat this season.

    with being third in the prediction table on the Barnsley Mad website, beat the manager game. I also went for 2-1 yesterday like yourself.

    You predicted a scunny goal - I must have missed that :)

    Didnt think we played that well to be honest - quite a lot of the time the players seemed to have poor understanding of what the others were doing

    Cant decide if the defence was really better or just Scunny were poor in attack. No big target man to cause us problems certainly helped. P Hayes not quite going to cause the problems that some players will

    Still 3 points and a clean sheet - will have that

    Oh and a bit of luck is always nice - even if we did hit the bar as well

    BarnSley 1 v Scnuthorpe 2 - league position 3rd from bottom - 41 games left to play.

    After seeing today's performance and a 2-1 defeat to a team we should murder once again Davey has shown how tactically inept he. FFS playing Odebaji up front on his own again!!! It's never going to work and I can't understand why we didn't just play 4-4-2.

    The whole team needs a re vamp and we should go out and get an experienced centre half as priority if only on loan. The likes of Mossto and Werling should be given a one way ticket back to where they come from. Come on Shepherd get Davey out and install Paul Jewell as Manager a matter of urgeny before it's too late.
