I predicted Butters would start to showboat infront of the cameras and end up on his arse - and he did not disappoint.
I also predicted that Ipswich, on paper, have got a reight team.
At some point these players were going to show their expensive talent. I just hoped it wasn't against us. But it was.

I sit at the northern part of the East Stand so couldn't really see what was going on in our defence with regard to their goals, but it seemed everytime they went forward in the second half they caused us problems.
I think Hill made an error when he didn't replace Drinkwater with a similar defensive midfielder such as Addison. They seemed to be running straight through our midfield.
They had about 5 men booked and I was expecting them to go down to 10 or even 9 men on the field with the amount of fouls committed. Unfortunatly that didn't happen.
I didn't think we played that badly to conceed 5 goals but there is a definite fault in our defences that needs to be rebuilt. And I'm sure Hillflicker will learn from this.

Huge huge disappointment. But for some reason I expected it.
But these huge disappointments are not as bad as what they used to be. Why? Because I have every faith in Hillflicker to come back stronger and wiser. They have only been in the job a few months and there have been some terrific changes. So whats it going to be like this time next year.

A team on a run of 7 straight defeats and we were on TV ...

    ... nailed on we'd lose.
