The back 4 can hold their heads up high, but apart from that a terrible terrible performance. Wednesday came out of the blocks a lot quicker than us, we were very poor, couldn't string two passes together. Suddenly we looked fairly brighter, having a few chances cleared off the line. Then the game completely turned on its head when that pillock Frimpong lacked any sort of discipline and got himself sent off. We were always going to face an onslaught from then on, luckily Wednesday are very poor in the final 3rd. Danny Wilson got it completely wrong bringing Chris O'Grady off, it should have bee the other way round as COG can hold the ball up a lot better The most frustrating and pathetic thing is that these bunch of "Professional footballers" can't seem to string two passes together, we were forever giving the ball away, putting ourselves under needless pressure. It was the same on Tuesday night. Very very disappointed.
Totally agree offspring . . . and while we're on the subject of substitutions; why did Wilson take Jennings off? He was the only threat we had. Don't get me started on Dawson - he's a liability. Thought Kennedy had a decent game (for once) today, just for all the haters out there.
By saying w deserved that your saying Wendy deserved to win. Not having that but we were terrible on the ball
We were playing with 10 men, not good for our performance. Still held them out till 97 th minute. When whistle should have gone on 95
Totally agree. Tremendous effort from the back four especially Ramage but wave after wave of Wednesday attacks was caused by our inability to keep possession. Too many players were just content to hoof the ball upfield instead of trying to keep things simple. Dawson continually gave the ball away in dangerous areas and as for Obrien least said the better. Still 57 points to play for but we have to start showing better discipline and learn from our mistakes
Can anyone tell me a team with 10 men who do keep the ball well against 11? It's virtually impossible. The minute Frimpong went off it was a backs to the wall job, we were never gonna have the ball for long periods. Superb effort all round yesterday. Agree about Blackburn though, shocking in the first half possession wise.
