Does anyone know if he's back in training then? I thought Chronicle said yesterday he was still struggling to work out what was up with him.

I always think it's an odd one, surely if a goalie is considered fit enough for the bench then he should be fit enough to play?

Or is he going to face a fight to get the shirt back?

I don't think you could drop Alnwick on what i've seen of him in the 2 home games so far.

It's a tough one. Fully agree he's done well in the home games I've seen, and he made some really good saves today. But Steele has shown himself to be a top class Championship keeper, and being out of contract at end of season he's even less likely to sign on if he doesn't think he's Keith's no.1.

Harsh as it might be on Alnwick, if Steele is fit I'd be picking him.
