RE: No, but I work there. Cool. You'll be based out at Clifton then I'm guessing? I work on the City site. Used to be a student here too 2000-2004 but again was on the City site. Clifton's a good campus, you'll have a good time!
RE: No, but I work there. Its split all psychology at the city campus and the sport science at clifton. Ended up with the maltings for my halls though which wasn't my first choice been told there quite far out from the centre and the clifton.
All I can say Is that they've obviously upped their entrance criteria since letting Stahlrost & myself in!! Good luck buddy. (Y)
No but I did 23 years ago, Nottingam is a great city for students - check out Rock City on a Thursday and the Irish Fri/Sat, have a great time.
RE: No, but I work there. The Maltings are at Basford which is about a 5-10 minute tram ride to the City site. To get to Clifton from there you'll have to get the tram into town and then a bus out to Clifton. Unless you have a car....
You might be taught by... Andrew Dunn, he works in psychology at NTU. I did my PhD at the same time as him at York. He's a very entertaining teacher, you'll enjoy his lectures.
Enjoy every minute pal. I had a fantastic 3 years at uni near Liverpool (Edgehill) about 10 years ago. Freshers Week will be amazing, and then really settle in to enjoying yourself (get your work done too like!!). Playing football for a university is a great experience too - although the football club social nights get very messy!
