Having just watched the tribute before the test match wny were we not afforded the same opportunity I've seen it suggested they were worried about the odd out burst I would suggest it would have taken a very brave and stupid person to have done that. The powers that be don't trust us hang your heads in shame EFL EPL FA.
Imagine the scenes in the SPL at Celtic, the level of scum that lot would come up with is unthinkable. Fully understand why SPL had to be called off with that club being up there.
Last night's game didn't have any class at all. Rugby players trying to get each other sent off. Most gamesmanship I've witnessed. I can't speyk.
#nottrusted? #justified I can guarantee that there would be someone pissed up, pilled up and/or coked up who’d have made himself (or herself) a hero amongst his/her peers by booing a minute’s silence or doing something else. At every game? No. But it would have happened. Didn’t hear much booing of taking the knee at rugby, cricket, F1, any other sport. Football had plenty. There’s plenty of anti-royal anti-monarchy folk around - and they are happy to let you know about it and can’t just stay respectfully quiet for a few days. I am a football supporter over any other sport but I support and attend other sports. None of them have as many neanderthalic idiots attending as football does. Barnsley is very much included as a club that does.
Don’t we enjoy freedom of speech though, or is that only an argument the right can use against the left? Celtic’s fanbase are largely Scots with Irish heritage. The royal family bloodily occupied Scotland, banned the language and culture, and deliberately initiated/exacerbated the Irish potato famine. Saying they’re scum for not loving the monarchy after their history is a bit dodgy to me
It's impossible to underestimate the depths of some people's stupidity though... https://www.heraldscotland.com/news...-kicked-trade-group-celebration-queens-death/
There’s a massive difference between not loving the monarchy, and chanting Pro-IRA chants for 90 minutes.
Just mind boggling what goes through some people’s heads. What possible outcome was she expecting? Weird.
She's entitled to think what ever she wants but to do that - everyone around hates her, she's struck off, and loses her livelihood . Surely evolution should have eliminated people like that.
Any views on building enormous bonfires, sticking an effigy of the Pope on top, and burning the Irish flag? Morons everywhere.
