he should play our stongest side every match, with everyone in their best position. He should always go to win every game. I hate all this 4-5-1 ****, only away to Birmingham or wolves could I understand this tactuic. Not Southampton!

    Muller

    Hassell
    Foster
    Souza
    Kozluk

    JCR
    De Silva
    Howard
    Devaney

    Hume
    Mostto

Subs: Leon, OJ, Moore, Colace, Steele.

that for me is a decent well balanced side. except the left side which needs work. He shouldnt be afraid to drop Howard for Leon. Its time to play some decent stuff and attack teams with a lot of pace. OJ should never ever start. His value is in the last 10-15 mins to shake things up a bit.

    that side, man for man.....

....should be a match for any side in this league. Therefore, if things don't pick up, it's pretty clear where the buck should stop.

I agree, but I don't think Davey would even think about starting Mostto regularly...

...if he was given a decent run in the side (ie the chance that KO has had) then I'm sure he would start scoring.

The strikers need to build up a partnership. Hume's quality is in there somewhere he just doesn't seem to be able to find it at the moment so he should be the number 1 striker...what we really need is a young striker in the mould of Chopra or Nardiello (when he first came) to bring in on loan.

i'm not sure what to do with Macken, he's like a jack of all trades, master of none.

    he's not very affective.

Probably got the best footballing brain at the club. We just need for him to strike up a partnership with someone. But thats the question. Who can??

    HUME!!!!!!!!!

why pay 1.2 million on a striker for goals and then worry about who can play upfront with macken when he couldn't hit a barn door from 2 yards at the moment.

what we should be asking is how do we create chances for hume.

Macken - best footballing brain at the club?

That's reassuring. Glad it isn't Davey, we'd really be screwed then. :D
