Phil Jones is an absolute joke.

International right back? never. Mid/low premiership centre back.

Hodgson needs his head examining if he thinks that clown, or Cahill or Smalling, are better than Stones. LVG will have Jones and Smalling out of United soon enough.

Phil Jones inability to take a throw in, then Cahill and Smalling's inability to defend has certainly made it interesting.

This England team would be mid table in premiership. At best.

    Henderson right back? Townsend? Gibbs?

Actually embarrassing how poor this team is. As bad as the days of Steve Frogatt and Tony Daley.

Prob still win this group. But honestly think Barnsley would prob top this group!!

I wonder how many of our players would get in to other European national teams, (that are ranked within the top 20)

    Hart, Sterling, Rooney. Only ones.

Oh but I bet Germany, Spain, France would be utilising a certain Centre backs shining talents..

I'm glad Stones is playing in the U21s. I think he'll benefit much more from a whole tournament at U21 level than a one off qualifier with the seniors.

Good point. Hopefully Smalling and Jones are no where near any tournament team!

Oh and having just seen Rooney can I withdraw his name from any potential list of world class players. Awful misses! Didn't realise how poor in front of goal he's become. Let's hope we get Walcott, oxlade and Sturridge back soon.

Exactly the point I made earlier. Hodgson is a joke.

Another cracker from Wilshere. Lallana played a big part in both goals. Should be one of the first names on the teamsheet, in my opinion.
