Must admit, i'd never heard of your manager. Turns out that not only was he born in the ghetto (out of wedlock no doubt) but he actually played for them! Don't think many down here know that, we normally give special receptions to our Romany neighbours former players. The truth comes out a couple of paragraphs from the end of link, poor man: http://icwales.icnetwork.co.uk/0600...objectid=18563610&siteid=50082-name_page.html
on the other hand we know quite a few of your players, and we'll look forward to playing them again next season when you fail to get promoted and Ridsdale craps his pants at the lack of Premiership cash and the not-so-lack of interest payments.
You'd have two choices then City centre or Cardiff Bay. Both have loads of bars and places to eat. Easiest way to the City Centre is to exit M4 at junction 29 and follow the A48(m). Travel along A48 for about 2 miles take the 4th (guessing) turn - don't worry it's well sign-posted for the City Centre. Watch for the speed camera about 1/2 mile after the turn off for the docks! Head toward the City Centre and opposite the Castle turn left - plenty of signs for car parks etc. There are plenty of good bars in that area - try Greyfriars Rd for instance (ask for the New Theatre and the bars are at the other end of the street - and theres a car park in Greyfriars Rd). Greyfriars Road is the street behind but running parallel with the main shopping street in Cardiff - Queen Street. Most City fans will be drinking at the lower end of St Marys Street - thats opposite the Castle but away from where I've directed you. Plenty of bars at the top end of St Mary St - 814 within 1/2 mile radius according to official guide! If you fancy a quieter drink - try Cardiff Bay, absolutely beautiful. Exit M4 junction 33 and follow the A4232. That's the road that leads towards Ninian Park as well by the way. Travel for about 3 miles and take the 2nd exit AFTER Ninian Park and theres a car park around 500yds in front of you on left. Its 5-10 mins in car from both locations to NP. Enjoy!
