A Spurs fan? The crappest of all the £$L clubs, by a million miles? The one you look at, and think Blackburn, or Leicester, have more of a case for being involved? I'd say he's been pretty unlucky, there, yeah.
Nothing in comparison but....my first 2 games at Newport county were postponed, on first we got as far as Chepstow, the other we got to know at motorway services, so went to London instead, both were with Official supporters club in 70s, anyone on here go to same games?
Free tickets next time they are in London? So essentially £100 saved off a trip that will cost a few grand. Calm down with the generosity Harry, I don't want you to bankrupt yourself...
He'd have got 10% of a shirt in the club shop if it was Barnsley. As long as it was Goalie shirt, in pink, in medium. Short sleeved.
Back in the 70s Barnsley were away at Crewe. At that time the Traccy's ran buses to away games for Barnsley, Leeds and Wednesday and you could book more or less just before you got on the coach. About 50 reds fans were disappointed to find that the Crewe game had been postponed but Man City v Leeds was still on. Hence a coach load of Barnsley fans went to Maine Road to watch Man City (Most games were pay on the day back then). I think Leeds won 2-1 if I remember correctly and Traccys coach full of Leeds fans got bricked around Hyde way. The things we used to do just to watch a game of football.
I would imagine if its as his guest it'll be a bit more special than just tickets, I think it s nice if him to have done that.
