    I take your point. He, or someone, spotted a few decent players. He also brought in Mosstto, Christiansen etc and never gave them a chance.
    However, you could take all the vitriol many people seem to have for Lee Johnson and multiply it by ten and it still wouldn't cover the dislike I have for Simon Davey.

    I think you misunderstood what Davey actually did. Davey didn't scout the players - he let agents recommend players who were looking to make a move to the UK. He then 'scouted' then by watching their youtube highlights reel and occasionally we forked out for him to go and watch them. Hence...some were very good buys and others were Mounir El Hamour.

    I'm hoping we're able to utilise the Nice scouting network to find players who we'd have otherwise missed...and obviously get a few good deals on young attacking talent that isn't ready for the top of the French Ligue 1 yet.

    Is Davey actually at Chelsea?
    Rubbish manager - if Hill, Robins or Hecky had been given the money that he had to spend they’d have done much better.
