    Make sure you don't

get too close to children or pregnant women for the next 24 hours or so until the radioactive dye is out of your system. It can cause problems or at least that was what my brother Chris was told a couple of years ago when he had to have one.

Made it very awkward trying to stay away from me.

Will do that very thing, feel like I should be locked up in a bunker till tommorra.

They had already told me to steer clear of vulnerable folk until the dye is gone.

    Gotta keep smiling

Got to be honest kid wish I'd never heard of it, was done to pinpoint an infection in the foot that the MRI couldnt nail down.

Not unpleasant just not nice to think of that ***** running round in the bloodstream.

Still, worse stuff happens at sea and all that stuff keep smiling and looking forward to a reds win on setdy.

    I can't remember

but mum says I had to have a kidney scan when I was a baby and had to have a radioactive dye in my system. She had to wear gloves when she changed my nappies for 24 hours and the nappies had to be put in a yellow bag to be incinerated. I was still in hospital at the time.
