Good in Sheffield Tap before and after the match - saw no trouble on Sheffield station. Saw Ben and Maurice driving out of Chesterfield train station to go to the match - gave them a wave. Good small ground. Only problem with it is that it is a couple of miles out of town and we struggled to get a taxi down to the ground. As for the match - we had the majority of play - we have the better players who played the better football but there was no end product with very few shots on target - in other words we were un-professional. We were out done by 2 big kicks up the field - direct play with a good striker at the end of it. Their first goal in particular was brilliantly taken. Danny changed the formation and it looked like Hourihane was playing wide right in the first half. We were better in the second half when he played more centre midfield. Good turn out by the fans who kept singing throughout the match - well done. Good in Chesterfield before and after the match - jumped on a local bus after the match to go back into Chesterfield and saw no trouble in Chesterfield except for a about 10 Chesterfield fans trying to get onto the railway station to have a go at about 150 Barnsley fans. All in all a great day. Barnsley played well and were a bit unlucky but as said earlier they need to improve on their final pass.
Taxi, effing Taxi from the town centre to ground. Walked it there and walked it back after full time and in time to catch 5.15 train to Sheffield.
What's your fascination with fighting at football matches? You been watching too much Green Street Gang.
Could be all sorts of reasons, I really stuggle with the hills in the cold! I've never actually got a taxi from there but then again I drive
Its not a fascination..........I am just describing what I saw in reply to the majority of posts on here about that particular issue.
