    Nar then

Called at East Dene so I could buy all the ale for one of the down and outs that frequents that club.
Nothing changes in East Dene - very few smiling faces.
Then from East Dene to West Stand. Obviously a bit of a jet setter these days travelling all the points of the compass.

    Team news - no Wiseman.
Ponti singing Keith Hills red and white army (and this carrys on all way through the match; GREAT !!!).
As per usual, from the start we dominate play.
Burnley not in the game - then score a simple header from a corner.
Team news - no Wiseman.........so what's happened there then.....who can the fans blame now ???
We are obviously desperate for a good central defender - there's one on show but unfortunately he is playing for Burnley.
Again we dominate but its not the same pass and move football that was seen earlier in the season.
Much of the play going forward is by Foster and McNulty who are giving it the big boooit up field.
There's a RYTHEM and a beat to how we are playing but this rhythm soon stops when the ball is played to Foster and McNulty.......these two players seem to be very hesitant and lacking in confidence.
The pass and move football is absent. I thought when Davies came back our forward play would vastly improve - but Barnsley are struggling to get the ball forward.
A very shaky central defence and a struggle to move the ball forward is indicating that this could be relegation football.
Although the effort is still there.......so there's a chance of turning things around.
Would like to see Stones back on the other side of defence.
    Busacky is an excellent signing.
And Greening is excellent in midfield making himself available for the simple pass at every opportunity.
Steele can't kick the ball and often launches the ball out of play......which is strange for a FOOTballer
Dennis the Mellis and especially Lasarus struggle.
O'Brien livens things up when he comes on.
Tudgay and Davies seem to be getting a good partnership going.
Golbourne is man of the match.
And this can be used as an example of why Keith Hill is the best man for the Barnsley job.
That is to say - sign a player like Golbourne that no one has heard anything about - and that player becomes one of our best players.

    Best Wishes
    The Nudge

I thought Steele's kicking was very good bar one mistake. He didn't need to take a touch either.

Nudge.....thought Golbourne had a good game mi sen.

Steele's kicking wasn't too bad, just one mis-cue.......and always miles better than Alnwick !!!

Keth Hill is currently best man for Barnsley job........agreed.
