I know it's been posted on here before but it was the old forum and the search box doesn't seem to work on here so...

Just wondering if someone could point me in the direction of the chap who will do number plates with the Barnsley FC logo where the EU flag normally is

    Thanks

Sorry to be spoilsport but a plate as suggested would be illegal. Police have powers to stop you but more importantly it is an MOT fail. This is all info online not because I work for DVLA.

A garage may well do one for you but they can only be done as show plates unless the garage is bent and just after money. All plates need a code on and I doubt such show plates do.

thanks for the info, probably that is how people get round it, claiming they are not for road use. Anyway I have certainly seen a few people driving round with them and I believe those issues were raised when this thread appeared originally (who knows when probably a year ago easy) anyway I suppose there's nothing to stop you changing your plates to pass an mot if required and as for the boys in blue well that's at the driver's risk

Beat me to it, The program we use at work to make the number plates does'nt allow any modifactions and are all set legal templates.

A 'Show Plate' actually has to be designed in a totally differant program and has to be decribed as a Sign.
