Thought they complemented each other really well tonight. It's the third time I've watched Souza play and he seems to be very
accomplished. Reminds me very much of De Zeeuw in some ways. If Davey doesn't offer him a contract there must be summat
else going on behind the scenes because he deserves one, in my opinion. If he does sign on, then I'd start the season with
    him and Nya.

Werling yet again showed good pace, and he's got great crossing ability. Not sure his defending is that good though, he gave their
#7 more space than Hecki did to many opponents last season!

As in last year's friendly, Wigan upped the tempo after the break and looked exactly what they are - a Premiership team. Mind you,
I'm not sure Heskey would get in our side - he was absolutely below average tonight!

Finally, top marks to Nick Colgan - played excellently tonight with 4 really good saves. Not sure what Scott Mathieson awarded the
penalty for though, he pointed to the corner flag at first!

I've not a clue about the penalty either - does anybody know?

Only thing about Souza was he's all left foot - I don't think he used his right once all night. Nyatanga is too so I wonder if Souza will be back-up to Lewin initially at least
