I do not think he was suggesting that he is toss more down to the british media over hyping Howard after the Liverpool game and Brian believing the hype rather than his ability.

    can't blame the lad really

top scorer this season, fantasic goal at anfield and the national press went mad for him for a bit

it would go to anybody's head especially if they have not been used to it

    Our best defensive Linup is

    Hassell, Foster Souza Kozluk

arguably swap Nyatanga for Souza but the other 3 are nailed on the best.

Trouble is we never play that back 4 because Hassel is doing the square peg in round hole role in the centre

Definetly, though I still think we need a good solid experienced centre back as souza is made to look crap in certain games that really don't suit him (fast strikers where the ball is put on the floor) he either stands and lets them run past him or lunges in.

    Who says that he has?

He had a poor game yesterday, but there are plenty of other valid reasons that may have contributed - it doesn't necessarily have to be a case of 'publicity has gone to his head'. Let's face it, he worked his balls off at Wembley, picked up and played with an injury along the way. He's been out for a couple of games, he's had an illness to get over (which, let's face it, even if it was just a bad head cold would nacker most people from playing Championship football) - what's to say that he wasn't brought back one game too early thanks to all the pressure mounted up onto that particular game?

At the end of the day we all know that Brian Howard is a quality player, a goal scoring midfielder, a good captain, and a sound bloke. He has been top entertainment for us for a good long time now. He's allowed a sub-par game without it all being a flash in the pan or him being too big for his boots. The only reason people want to get on his back is because he raised the expectations for himself so high in the first place by being such a good player.

On Saturday morning we needed three points to secure safety. We are still in exactly that same position. It's not a drama.

RE: Our best defensive Linup is

    For season has to be

    Muller

    Foster Nyatanga Souza Werling

When strikers can't score and hold ball up it's a bit harsh to blame the defence.
