Some of our fans have their head up their arse. Barnsley cannot get good quality players because they will not come, and we cannot afford the wages. COG was wanted by everyone at Barnsley, and is our main front man. He is not scoring because he gets no support. So say we are offered 1.5 million why would we want to sell him. If we did, who are we going to get as good who would want to come. It would be all the loan crap, where most of them could not care a **** about Barnsley. Never sell your best, just offload the worst. Then we will improve. I personally think it is ******** anyway, and would be surprised to say the least if GOG was sold
Weather COG will be sold, I kmow not, and TBH I care not. But ive said before football is a very transient business. And to get too attached to any player is a mistake...all we can do is support or not, the eleven who are out on the field at any one time..On gates of 10k we need to sell and will keep selling to bring in money..
We usually sell our best player at this time of the season, not been relegated by doing so too. I think, if true £1.5 million would be hard to refuse and let Danny build his own team.
As much as I like cog for 1.5 million I think we would have to say yes take money, and let danny build his own team. We usually sell our best players this time of year stones, vaz te, hammil. Craig davis and they all went for penuts.
what would be the point of keeping a striker worth 1.5m if we dont have the quality in the rest of the squad to supply him. Better of getting the cash to buy better quality players who can supply a lesser striker. If we can create 5-6 chances for a lesser striker, surly we would score more goals than creating 1 chance for COG. COG isn't exactly a 1 chance 1 goal striker is he, if he was we would have drawn with Derby
