Just hoping for abit of advice, currently own a px125 that's been derestricted and I'm looking to do abit of work to it. Can anyone recommend a good kit for the engine and a decent exhaust? Too many to choose from and my knowledge on add ons isn't all that good.

    Cheers.

Never owned one, always wanted one!
I've got mates who have them and I used to read scootering may. A name I remember for aftermarket exhausts is Malossi if that helps?

Would you say the lml star is a credible alternative to the vespa PX? How are they seen in scootering circles these days?

    Thanks for that T dog...

Just to keep the convo going I also own a 15 plate LML star and I think it is better quality than a vespa.

    Better paintwork
    Better built
    More comfort

The only downside is the poor wiring, almost every owner will experience a problem with their speedo. Overall I profer the LML, but a vespa? It's just ****ing cool init?

Oh I forgot, LML is basically a vespa but better. I have been on rallies on mine and I most say they're becoming more common now. They are a cheaper way of getting into scootering. I've had one comment though, that came off a 50 year old lambretta owner, but everyone knows lammy owners are bellends haha.

Get an LML mate and if you're that fussed about the badge just debadge it and buy vespa badges, to the naked eye they are the exact same bike.

The scooter lads meet up at the Ship Inn at Worsbrough on Sunday afternoon, you'll get plenty of advise there.

Haha yeah my Speedo has gone but on plus side the miles have stopped ticking over so I'm strategically waiting for my MoT before I get it sorted haha.

On the note of scooter snobbery my uncle (who ran the Vespa club of Scotland) turned up to a rally on a bajaj, but rather than rebadge it to a vespa got some paintwork done and called it the 'Bombay BadBoy' got loads of Indian flags attached and went wearing Indian clothing (to the night do as well). Big two fingers up to the snobs haha

I know the LML is just a Vespa made under licence in India, don't think it would bother me personally but the obvious thing would be to debadge it if it did, I'm still some way off owning one, the missus doesn't care too much for 2 wheeled transport!

Haha that's brilliant! I can't stand badge snobs but they're dying out now! Most scooterists are excited about what LML are doing.

When you make the jump Gaz you'll never look back. They're great! I love mine to bits, in fact I've just had a ride on my lml because it's been far too long.

One of the lads said I should just turn up at home on one....
Trouble is I think that would lead to divorce & I actually quite like her!

Gaz, that's what they all say but soon change their mind. When she sees you pull up on your brand spanking new Vespa/LML she'll be gagging for you mate

Don't debadge mate, never be ashamed of your scoot
