For three years now we have been hassled by Yorkshire bank saying that our Mortgage payments were slightly short. This because they by their own admission incorrectly cancelled the repayments. They asked us to voluntarily alter the direct debits. We refused. So, for three years we have had phone calls chasing us to rearrange the payment. That's three years of phone calls first thing on a Saturday morning.

Turns out the FSA have now told Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank that it is their fault and that the calculations were wrong and indeed they owe the customers money.

Having notified customers that they would receive a letter to organise the shortfall that they owe us, nothing came so we chased. Apparently we are due two thousand pounds and the letter is in the post. So tonight, once again we have been hassled to reorganise our payments to them! We 've pointed out its the other way round, but all they say is they are collecting repayments until the other departments pay customers back. Just bizarre

Anyone else had the same aggro?
