Will be visiting these 2 over the next couple of days any tips for places to see and visit would be greatly appreciated. Currently in Bognor on holiday and I’m slightly underwhelmed if I’m honest so I’m hoping these will brighten the week

Underwhelmed and Bognor in the same sentence. You haven't lived. Get to Butlins.

Krakow Regis? Why? Go to Brighton and spend some time in The Lanes.

Get a visitor ticket for the historic dockyard in Portsmouth, look online there’s usually offers about, there’s HMS Victory, The Mary Rose, Dockyard boat tour, explosion museum, a submarine and loads of other stuff.

The seafront has a great D Day museum, a fairground for kids and plenty to do/see/eat/drink around both piers, up on portsdown hill there is Fort Nelson which is free and has views across the city, has a nice cafe too

gunwharf is ok if anyone wants to do any discount shopping and has tons of chain type restaurants and bars, you can walk from here to old Portsmouth and inwards to southsea

Portsmouth Dockyard is ok, if you do, close your eyes on the way through the city, its an abomination imo, Winchester is a lovely city, took the kids to butlins in Bognor, why they built it in Bognor is beyond me, it makes skegvegas look like the Seychelles, all opinions of course

It’s literally Cleethorpes of the south but Cleethorpes has a sandy beach. If Butlins wasn’t here it would literally have no purpose calling itself a coastal resort

Cheers looked at this am I right in thinking it’s on the opposite side of the water though so I’d have to park over that side?

the boat maybe drops you off on the other side at explosion I think, you might need to hop on the gospit ferry for the submarine

It's weird because me and Laura go to Cleethorpes regularly. She loves it but I never get that coastal feel about the place and think it's a 5hit hole.

There's nothing for George there other than the beach and a play area in Fun Land.

Two or three decent pubs smattered about. It's more a dirty weekend away and **** up than resort.

It's a shame because years ago there were things to do there.

When I first went (to Cleethorpes). There was a a pleasure beach and amusements near the Train Station and Treasure Island.

The front seems to have been cleaned up for walkers and pensioners now.

Just one pub on the front now.
