She's one of a handful of the top players who've been playing Challenge Tour events this year. I was lucky enough to see her beat Lisa Ashton in the Qualifiers in November. Lovely kid, deserves this after her health issues a couple of years ago.
Anything could have happened! She was 13/2 anorl to beat him, would have been worth a couple of quid. Not to mention her 2x 180's in one leg leaving her with 141 in contention for the 9 darter only to hit 41!
She has done fantastic and I hope at least one lady can get a tour card next month based on merit not gender. I wouldn't be a fan of a women only PDC tour, but thought the women shouldn't have had female only qualification events either. Every player regardless of circumstances should be in the same qualifying events. Hopefully she gives Mensur as good game on Saturday night. Whatever happens she has gone further than Barney who is a shoe in for KOTW on the darts famous Justin Credible blog site this Friday.
I always read it. I don't agree with the language he uses and some weeks are boring going over the same old and some insults he does go too far such as when writing about Dave Clark. But a lot of it is easy to agree with when he goes on about guys like Barney, Wade and Lewis because all three should have won more than they have. Or how badly the BDO is run.
