O/T Moon landing conspiracy

    So in 1969 they (allegedly) went to the moon and ad a walk round, this done with less technology than the current i phone..
    Now its 2022 and a new moon landing is gonna take place but it will take 2 years and they've already aborted 2 attempts to even take off .....so the question is..are the conspiracy theorists being proved right ....hmmmm

    I think it never really happened too. We'd have been back. If we have been there's some other reason we haven't been back. I reckon it's an Alien air dock or something.

    Of course we went to the moon. If we hadn't gone Russia/China could easily disprove it and would love to do so.

    Cannot say if it was fake or fact. But a total of 6 missions went to the moon, photos / films of them all too. Seems a very expensive hoax to me if it was fake.

    Parts of the many landing craft are still clearly visible on the surface of the moon with a decent sized telescope. They also left behind mirrors designed to be used with lasers on Earth to accurately measure the distance to the moon.

    Statistically the same proportion of the British public believe the moon landings were faked as people who believe that Boris Johnson did a good job as Prime Minister. Both require a similar suspension of sanity.

    Don’t forget that we didn’t only go once. Several successful moon landing missions took place. Are the conspiracy theorists saying that they were all faked? If so why did Apollo 13 have problems ?

    Of course we went to the moon. The amount of people that would have to be involved in a cover-up of that size... Not to mention the fact that other countries would have exposed it as such.

    The reason it hasn't happened for a long time is simply that there's been no reason for it to happen. They didn't feel like there was anything extra to be gained and so didn't bother and the majority of infrastructure was scrapped. It's only recently that they've put money back into it, as mars exploration has become a possibility and a lot of the plans I've seen are that the moon could be used as essentially a launchpad for mars missions, as that would make it cheaper and quicker. so moon missions have a purpose again.

    If anyone thinks the moon landings were a hoax, I mean really believes it i suggest you go and educate yourselves on the subject.
    It's only open to debate in the same way the flat earth is open to debate, or that the bible is right and the earth is only 6000 years old.

    When i worked in Dubai, Buzz Aldrin stayed in our hotel. "I don't want any fuss or recognition" he said, then proceeded to walk round the hotel in a red Nasa jump suit. He was a miserable sod as well.
