O/T Where has that time gone.....?

Thirty five years almost to the day, the men who worked at our local pit ( Hatfield Main) were getting
ready for the long march back after the prolonged strike to protest against mass pit closures.

I don't know if anything is being planned to recognise the event this year, but I recall that the parade to mark the thirtieth anniversary was a truly memorable event attended by a lot of people from the former mining communities in and around the Doncaster area.
