I understand that this was done to protect the assets in the future.

What is the Net worth? Is that the value of the property/land they own? It just seems very low. I know you can't view a football stadium in the same way you can a house, other than playing football there it has little use and would probably be torn down if it was ever sold, but how much would it cost to build Oakwell and academy complex? £20 million? At least? Then there's all the land.

I don't really get it either as the assets are only £245,303. We need BFC Dave.

We don't rent anything off the council, they own 50% and that's it, they've only got 50% because it was given to them as a safe guard against anyone buying the club and selling the land and assets off, it'll probably be a stumbling block attracting future owners but it's a safe guard so we don't end up homeless and potless the first thing a administrator would do if we ever go down that road again wild be to sell the ground and land off leaving the club proper fu'cked this way it can't happen

Heard someone mention BMBC get £250K per year in rent. Also reason why council gritters were allowed to attempt and clear the car park the other week. If it were private land, the council can't get involved.

No they don't. They are abbreviated accounts filed with Reg of Co as a small company

Basically they are just a balance sheet.
