So yes a 3-1 win at home to 4th bottom mk dons ...great performance on the pitch but off it leaves a lot to desire.

A mediocre 5 out of 10 for the oakwell Faithfull where i was sitting. Much better but still nothing really in terms of atmosphere.

We are so quick to say the players dont play well are rubbish etc and boo them.. but when the fans aren't getting behind them at all its a tad contradictory. Can't duff criticise us when we sit there like mutes ? Oh no can he heck

Saturday.. Lads pressed from the off well up off it, scored early still no songs or cheering them on .. i sit on ponty and was singing on my own. There was a murmur of noise it was better but still very very poor.

Best atmo was adam hammill song at half time these young lads giving everthing and we can only sing for a legend like hammil in skinny jeans and curling 20 yarders into middle of net. Nice one

Lot of stuff gone against us yes and owners been poor but whats stopping a good sing song its a laugh gets behind the young team and creates a better experience for young and old fans going to the games. More come .. attendance improves.. club Improves.. it goes on. Whats everyone scared of.

Dont get whats up with you all.

    You super reds.

I cheer, I hoo and arr at missed opportunities but I rarely sing. I don't need singing for atmosphere.

Well I was cheering and getting behind them, I'm not a boo er!. I don't think berating the fans is that helpful either though.

Think there were a few times in the first half when the crowd got behind them ... we put a few crunching tackles in, and it lifted the crowd

Midweek matches are worst, everyone tired from work, young uns who make an effort in top corner of ponty don’t seem to turn up,gosh it’s depressing win lose or draw

We're appalling midweek. Barring a spell under Val. That goes back years. Even under Stendel defeats and draws seemed to always be midweek.

I have to say I'm impressed. His last two posts have both been complaining about the atmosphere and they're only 460 days apart

I think it's a bit of a hangover from last season which let's face it was dire and to much lesser extent this season at home not been great to watch but Saturday was much better and must say I was a little dissapointed with the atmosphere. Have they done something re the top left of the ponty as in stewarding seems alot less noise but there was some young uns singing in the family stand it was good to hear.

Lot of trust to rebuild between fans and players I’m afraid. It’s like everyone is just expecting something bad to happen.
It helps the atmosphere if it’s a decent away following but there are very few in L1.

Personally I thought the ponty end was loud yesterday when the players were going for it. I had songs about loads of players. It only quietened down in response to the team changing tactics and passing it around at the back

I abused the referee several times; even standing up to do it on one occasion.

I think it's due to us not having a decent striker. OK, we score the occasional goal, but we all know if the opposition score first or equalise, we're unlikely to hit back. It's not like certain times in the past when it's been " ok, you've scored a goal; we'll simply score more than you".

Playing devils advocate I’m sure there are plenty who don’t know any of the songs so you can’t carry them on. Could be argued we had some solid chants for years everyone knew such a Bobby Hassell, Adam Hammill etc. The ones now are often high tempo so hard to pick up the words.

Too many people on their mobile phones during the game. They have not got time to sing
