    they should allow

clubs to have a standing area again that would go a long way to getting atmosphere back again. I know health and safety would be right up on the agenda here , but I am certain if set up and managed correctly then it could be done safely. Maybe height restrictions like you see at major theme parks could be used, age restrictions perhaps. These are just a few suggestions off the top of my head. But I do believe that seating did a lot to damage atmosphere in many football grounds.

People voiced their displeasure at the group of young fans continually trying to get an atmosphere going due to the odd patch of silly behaviour. Discouraging the few groups of lads making noise leads to a very quiet ground. It will probably improve if we start winning more often but patience has to be shown with those trying to create atmosphere.

The lads who were trying to make a noise were generally racist, swore, and made a general nuisance to the stewards. Better without 'em.

think it doesn't help if no decent away support, also everyone is spread about all over and end up with just odd random shouting ,Bradford was ok, nice little atmosphere for that game

That's why I love away matches

    Always good atmosphere

    Same for every club

Can't remember the last match I went to and the home support was better than away

But got to agree atmosphere today was dire even at 4-1

    Much prefer away games

    Oakwell is shocking atmosphere wise.

Maybe we should hand out free plant pots on the turnstiles

Unfortunately your right on most games but by eck we can't half cheer em on when it clicks the atmosphere is rocking on those occasions.
