Oakwell Safety Certificate - June 2020

    Just for those who are interested, the certificate was renewed last month.

    Official capacity is confirmed as 22,815. This figure includes -422 in the North Stand to allow for better segregation. And -11 in the West Stand for TV Gantry access.

    Overall, Oakwell is certified for 433 less than it can hold. That’s fair enough.

    I think the main reason was access to toilets and refreshments. Is that considered in the safety certificate?

    The club have always stated it can be re-opened if regular demand is there. Porta-loos and a burger bar sorts that out on a temp basis.
