The football club have issued 350 priority tickets for today at Oakwell. There will be no more tickets issued today. All those with a priority ticket issued today will be able to purchase their tickets. Please do not go down if you do not have a priority ticket as you will not be served today. You have until the 1st March to purchase your tickets
So Owen............ 300 were issued yesterday and 350 today. How many do they plan on handing out tomorrow, as it will be the busiest day so far and the club should make allowances for people who can't get down in the week. Thanks.
RE: So Owen............ Not there so cannot answer, 2200 chelsea tickets were sold today, so we can assume similar or more sold today. I am sure they are putting systems in place for tomorrow If I hear anything I will let you know, but I am stuck at work in dismal derbyshire at the moment
Seems slow, so at this rate us thats going down next week will have to get down pretty early to get a pink ticket. What a fiasco, why don't they open on a Sunday FFS.
RE: So Owen............ Cheers for that Owen Many none season ticket holders will already have tickets for the match, whilst thousands of us season ticket holders are still waiting. So lets say they work a touch quicker today. 4.5k sold by the end of today and say 400-450 slips tomorrow I would say. We could have 8-9k sold by the end of the third day tomorrow.
RE: Brilliant... and I'm on holiday from today until 1st March Could send a postal order in or maybe ask a mate to sort it for you?
Less than ideal clearly

How come they sold 6000 tickets in 1 day for Liverpool ?? Yet things seem to be moving slow this past few days with these tickets.
From Official site - ticket update at noon today CHELSEA TICKET UPDATE - FRIDAY 12 NOON Posted on: Fri 22 Feb 2008 BARNSLEY Football Club would strongly advise any further season ticket holders or Centenary Society members not to come down to Oakwell today to book tickets for our FA Cup Quarter Final with Chelsea. The Oakwell Box Office has now closed the queue for today. Season ticket holders are reminded that their seat will be reserved for them until Saturday March 1, 2008, and there is no need to rush to purchase your tickets. Forthcoming Opening Hours Saturday February 23- 9.00am to 12 noon Sunday February 24 - Closed Monday February 25 - 9.00am to 5.00pm Tuesday February 26 - 9.00am to 7.45pm There will be more updates daily.
RE: How come they sold 6000 tickets in 1 day for Liverpool ?? Because our club don't want to have to pay the staff overtime again, when they can't get everyone served for 5 o clock
RE: How come they sold 6000 tickets in 1 day for Liverpool ?? I suspect (and I am not there) that because at Anfield they could give you any ticket, whereas at Oakwell you get your own seat, so they have to print off the tickets, then locate 2nd seats etc. which will slow the process down Also people are probably getting more than one season ticket's worth
So for us that have to work for a living 3 hours tomorrow, Tuesday night and maybe 3 hours a week tomorrow.
Why don't they open a few turnstyles for cash only and other turnstyles for the QPR/Sheff Wed game instead of of one giant queue for everything.

Didn't realise they were pre-printed. I thought the seat numbers were printed on when they fed the blank into that machine which also prints off the receipt for the Switch card. Stand corrected if there all pre-printed.
Yes but i cannot get my frigging wednesday tickets becuase i work late weekdays and i'll be fecked if i ask my grandmother who is on the ill side to go fetch them. fecking Joke again.
