    Oates isn't somebody I expected to get any real game time this year, but he's cropped up in a few squads now and Burton must like him to chuck him on for half an hour

    Is he any good? What sort of player is he?

    He played a CF role taking over from Wearing and did it better still very green but looked to have potential. Too little game time to have a real opinion especially second half yesterday

    I've also seen little of him but I can't imagine he's any worse than Lita or Hemmings so he's worth a game or two based on that alone until Winnall's back fit

    I agree, he looks like he is not as good at holding ball up as Waring but has more pace and in the time he had on Saturday he made a chance for himself and had a double assist in Hemmings goal.

    And as you say, he is our player.
