    Barnsley are reported to be closing in on a move for Republic of Ireland star Alan O'Brien.

    But Simon Davey faces a battle to land him - Hartlepool, Preston North End, Blackpool and Carlisle United are also thought to be tracking the Hibs winger who has two years left on his current deal at Easter Road.
