criticising the referee for his performance. very rarely does that (sorry dave, i'm not going to get drawn into that). think that shows how much it means to the lads and how frustrated he was... either way andy...you're doing a top job and keep up the good work.
When we reflect upon this season in the summer, and realise the opportunity we had of promotion, simply killed off by our manager's inability to work the transfer market, I think the general feeling amongst Barnsley supporter's will be to rid ourselves of him, by the way, I'm making an early shout for Mick Mccarthy, anyboy concur?
McCarthy, bad move in my opinion Wether we get promoted or not, Ritchie has worked miracles this season. To hang in there around the play offs is an amazing job. To sack him if we don't get into the play offs would be very harsh, and I know Sunderland was in the Premiership and McCarthy is a legend around here, but top and bottom is he managed a team to relegation and playing very poorly. I still think we'll get in the play offs and promoted though. Next two games will tell.

He's done terribly this season... just look at sunderdland's joke of a season, surely a fair part of that has to be down to McCarthy? I'd love him at Oakwell at some point, but Richie's done better than anyone else we've had recently (Except Bassett of course) so why get rid of him? Sure some of his decisions may be baffling, and at times his approach may not be the best, but changing managers is the last thing we want to do, we need some stability, and I think if he and his team are given a chance, things will get better with time
