Oddschecker says best odds on a top two finish for us are 13/2. Best promotion odds 12/5. Who thinks either of these represents a good bet?
13/2 represents a probability of c.13%. 12/5 represents c.30%. Make of that what you will. I would say both are about what our chances are at this stage.
A lot depends on our squad at the end of this transfer window, but, overall, I think our chances are slightly better than the quoted odds suggest.
It suggests that we are not fancied for automatic promotion. Our chances of winning the playoff however, are marginally better than 1 in 4. Pretty standard stuff based on our league position and points total.
