    Ian, why are you so much maligned?
    "We could all do better" they all opined
    Your poems might rhyme but they just don't scan
    Ar young un could do better from in his pram

    You come to Oakwell in your turned up jee-ans
    Eyes a sparkling and full of bee-ans
    Watching 'th Tarn while composing a verse
    Seen some cack prose, but this is worse

    You're mildly diverting on Radio Fo-oor
    But that "Lars Leese" line was just piss poo-er
    Having said all that, you're a proper fan
    Just learn to make your couplets begin to...

    Scan.
