doesn't sound like it................

HOOPER IS VERY SPECIAL - ADKINS

Posted on:Mon 02 Feb 2009
Iron boss Nigel Adkins paid tribute to striker Gary Hooper as he reached the landmark of 20 goals for the season, with over three months of it left, in Saturday's sensational 2-1 win at Millwall.

A brace from the former Southend marksman sealed the victory for United, as they came from behind to beat their promotion rivals.

"Gary's a special talent, and he's only young. We have a culture of finding young players, allowing them to make mistakes, and move on and improve," said Adkins, speaking on Iron World.

"We've got no intention of letting anyone go at the moment. It was a very tough game, but it opened up in the second half and it was a great finish by Gary at the end. But it's all about partnerships, and Paul Hayes is a great foil for him.

    Nigel Adkins seesm to understand

What a striker looks like and how a strike partnership works.

Wonder if he believes in left footed players as well ?
