I guess any signings will be announced when Vacation Davey gets back. Quite rightly too. Is he definitely back today or doesis he having an extra long break?

I expect several new players in before the kick off, we have got to be patient. I am sure they are in contact with players and agents and are trying their best to get the right players in on our limited budget. We need a goalkeeper, leftback, centre half, left sided midfield player, and another striker, (as we only have Stan, Kay and Coulson). I am confident that we will have a stronger squad to start the season than we had when we started last season.

RE: I guess any signings will be announced when Stronger squad? I really hope your right. Exciting in it, waiting for all those talented players to sign for us. And don't forget! they have to blend into a team, which may take a few months. My view, what it's worth, is that without ex premier or championship players being added to the squad then we are going to struggle once again in this league. Still Davey could suprise a lot of people this season on how quickly he takes Barnsley up the league , or bottom of it. We shall wait with eager anticipation on his signings.
