I'm certainly starting to believe that he is becoming a cult figure down the 'Well.

I really believe that 90% of the crowd are desperate for the lad to do well, simply because of his attitude. No one can question his willingness to fight for the cause. His failings are glaring (ie. can't score regularly), but he never stops trying.

How many players have we had who didn't give a toss? At least this lad is honest.

The "effort vs ability" argument is one that pops up quite a lot, especially for clubs in the Championship and below. I suppose the fact that Odejayi is still at the club whereas Nardiello isn't answers what the manager thinks about this particular issue!

    Agreed

He's a decent player but struggles when he has too much time.

That said, I wouldn't be over confident many of our squad would've taken the chance he missed yesterday - though I do think Hume would've

I love his attitude - one point yesterday he played a ball back to Hassell (I think) but gave it away and put Bobby in a bit of trouble, what did he do - chased back covered the Bob put in a tackle and ball goes out for a throw in. Danger over

I'd love for him to start getting goals

Feel sorry for him - out of his depth in this league..

Not his fault - does his best..

I remember that, was a right tackle

As someone said at the time, if he put so much effort and agression into his game when playing as a striker he would score a lot more goals. for a big man he shows no strength

I don't remember many occasions in the past when all the crowd stood up to applaud something like that! It was awesome!
