You've got to be there to tap them in, however the second goal was a bit more than a tap in. Give the lad a bit of credit, and in truth this is a much more important result than Sunday.
RE: Easy goals usually come from good team play... really a bad thing? OK so they can also come from defensive blunders, but not so much the case tonight so i understand
Coupled with Leon's excellent pass... ...it was indeed quite a good goal, combining several skills and strengths. World Class indeed. (chinny)
doubled his seasons tally in one go so an excellent day at the office, see if he can go one better on sat and get a hat trick, after sunday i thought he was finished to be truthful, lets hope not
With his chance to get his hattrick he did well... taking on the defender. He accidentally selected Werling power for the subsequent attempted deft lob over the keeper though.
Listen mate according to some on here it's very difficult to score one open goal never mind two. Strikers score goals by getting away from defenders and making space for themselves. Tonight he did it twice so credit to him. The only thing he needs to do now is to do it on a more regular basis. He needs to shoot earlier and stop running the ball too far, which is why he missed at Wembley.
Don't agree at all he missed on Sunday because he missed the target. He hit it exactly where he was looking too giving the keeper a chance even if hehad hit the target. Up to then he looked confident he would put it away.
RE: 2nd goal a tap-in? B*ll*cks Muscle, determination, sheer guts and WHAM - back of the net!!! More please Mr K
