No panic at all. He single handedly turned what looked a nailed on automatic place to relegation form over the last dozen games, in the space of a few months. He's caused rifts in what was a very close knit group of players, has changed our fast attacking style of play to pedestrian style of passing, and has players on the bench that were brilliant before he arrived, one of whom was being watched by most of the PL top 6 clubs, yet O'Dismal thinks he doesn't deserve a starting place. It's easy to comment from the outside, but he was dreadful. We're only in 4th place, due to the excellent start to the season before he arrived, and because other clubs have faltered recently too. So yes, it is the right decision based on everything we've seen, and gives us a fighting chance of getting an automatic place still. Don't be surprised to see results turn around immediately, which will fully justify the decision. Thanks for your interest though. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
I've never been sure about SOD , he seems to have done well at certain places yet failed at others. Although it seems as though his more successful times have been when he's had Billy Sharp on board..and James Hayter before that...hope it's not at our expense..but good luck.
Completely justified decision already, with two wins in two games. It's telling, that he's only been successful when he's had Richard O'Kelly as his assistant. Whatever the reason for his lack of success this time, he was clearly sapping the played motivation, as it's back with a bang since his dismissal.
