just how many were genuine injuries and how many were "pure coincidence" with the transfer window imminent? I'm thinking of Andersdon in particular. but Macken and Moore...

    Nah

Anderson, Moore and Macken will be going nowhere. They were genuinely injured

Can only see us shipping out players we don't want- Odejayi for one.

Moore just rtn from injury, Anderson was doubt vs PNE with knock & Macken's playin thro injury

If you remember Macken got a knock a few weeks ago and was expected to out for upto 6weeks, however, he only missed one game. Last few matches he has looked sluggish as if he was carrying an injury, I assume therfore that SD has simply decided to rest him.

Same could be said for Anderson, he got a knock against forest and wasn't expected to play against PNE but turned out.

Finally Moore has just come back from long lay off and was rushed back into the team vs PNE because of injury to Souza, and lack of cover.

In my mind it is clear that SD didn't wan't to risk star players, especially when the odds were stacked against us (i.e. playing Premiership opposition).

But you never know Moore might be off to Real Madrid?

    According to Davey

Macken was feeling sick and dizzy on the eve of the game and Da Silva stitches in ankle turned septic and swollen and Moore trouble with a knee but will be back Saturday.
