    Will I get mugged?

Missus won tickets for Paralympics and going to athletics tomorrow evening, really looking forward to it.

You might get mugged by the price of food on the Olympic Park.... But apart from that you'll have a fantastic time.

You can't take drinks in with you, but there are water fountains, so take empty bottles.

Beer is £4:30 a bottle, and fast food is about £10 a go.

    Just a very uplifting experience.

I was there on Saturday evening brilliant atmosphere in the stadium
If drinking by pints they are £4.60 which is a lot better value than £4.30 for a small bottle

food a bit pricy but no worse than at a football match - Had a singapore noodles in the stadium for £8.50 and it was actually not bad at all

If you dont mind a bit of a walk West Ham underground had no queues when we went there even just after the finish of the Athletics

Hope ypu have a great day

Had a great time. Tickets we had were 16 rows from front on 100m side of the stadium, directly in front of the medal ceremonies so almost within spitting distance of Teresa May!
Didn't have any beer (only had Heineken I think it was anyway!), as for food, we'd eaten not long before we went to the park, so just had a pie and a coke later on, the pies were £5 but very nice they were. Like you say - not that much different from pricing at the footie.
Atmosphere was incredible, particularly when David Weir won gold in the 1500m.
We got the tube at Stratford, slowish walk to the station but no queue when we got there and straight on the train!

p.s. Fired - thanks for the tip on taking in empty bottles for water!
