By the time we get back in a fortnight's time, we'll probably have signed another four or five players. Unfortunately, we don't have wi-fi access. So although the BBS gets to enjoy peace and tranquillity from my inane ramblings, I'm going to miss this place. Especially as the transfer market begins to hot up for us. We're also attending Laura's Graduation ceremony at Carlisle Cathedral during the second week and she's warned me I have to be on my best behaviour!
Enjoy graduation, it might just be the dressing up, but I just love the occasion. Great seeing students looking so happy and their families so proud. Was both of mine last year, gosh that year has flown.
Have a great time mate I'll speak once you are back home. BTW. Remind me again. When is it you become a grandfather. Can't be long.
It's a few miles from Barnard Castle, my old friend. We decided to book a dog friendly cottage within fairly easy travelling distance of Carlisle, so we could kill two birds with one stone if Laura managed to graduate. Thankfully, she did. The cottage is in it's own acre of land and private wood.
They've had various dates for the birth and the latest they've been given is 25th, 26th & 27th December. I can't wait.
Have a great hols Kev and enjoy Laura's graduation. .Carlisle Cathedral is a great venue for the ceremony...Barnard Castle, bit like Penistone..could snow in July lol
Have a good holiday, my mate. And drink in every minute of your amazing daughters graduation. It gets some stick this forum, but without it I might never have met you. Absolute diamond. See you at Oakwell I'm sure. You Reds.
