I think Roy Jones Jnr's performance in dismantling Jeff Lacylifts Calzaghe's win versus Jonesup a notch or two. A number of people were stating that Jones was over the hill etc., whereas I agree he (Jones) is past his prime he is still an excellent boxer in the light heavy division and Calzaghe took him to school. I'd like him to stay retired tho'.

That's good of Calzaghe to take him to school - is it on Joe's way ? or does he owe Roy's mum a favour ?

Jones would have destroyed Calzaghe in both there primes. Jones was well past it when they fought and didn’t have have the desire and was on the wrong side of 40.

Lacy is a very untalented boxer who somehow gets recognition and a past it Jones took out Lacy which is something Calzaghe in his prime couldn’t do.

For me Calzaghe never proved himself to be a boxing great. Due to skipping and passing fights and decided to take the easy road. Ducking and diving out of Hopkins, and Jones’s way until there pensioners doesn’t quite do it for me.

Yet all he had to do was take the challenge, and who knows maybe I would respect him a lot more.
